Tech and AI Events in Wales (2026–27)
Every upcoming AI, fintech and tech event we list in Wales, in date order, with who runs each programme and how to take part.
Short answer
Most tech and AI events in Wales take place in Cardiff and are run by two organisations. AI Wales (aiwales.org) runs the largest programme of AI events in the country: talks, roundtables, hackathons and hands-on workshops, organised through sector councils that include fintech, cybersecurity, agriculture, manufacturing and energy. Its events are free, and most are held at venues in Cardiff, with occasional events in Swansea and North Wales. FinTech Wales (fintechwales.org) runs regular networking breakfasts, roundtables and partner events for the financial services and technology community in Cardiff and Newport; some are free and some are free only to members. The table below lists every upcoming event from both programmes that Cwtch Events carries, with its date, venue and price, in date order. It is checked against each organiser’s own website every morning, and past events drop off automatically, so register through the organiser’s own page.
