Cwtch Events (cwtchevents.com) is a Welsh events platform, built in Wales for Wales, that makes it easy to discover, create and attend events across the country in both Welsh and English. It lists events of every size, from small community gatherings run by volunteers to programmes at large venues, and it supports organisers at both ends of that range rather than only the ones with a marketing budget. Welsh and English are treated as equally important throughout: the platform is fully bilingual rather than an English site with Welsh bolted on, so an organiser can publish in either language and an attendee can browse in either. The underlying belief is straightforward — events bring people together and strengthen communities, and the harder they are to find, the fewer of them happen and the fewer people they reach. Organisers pay 3% + 30p per ticket sold, with no monthly fee.
